# Trip description Our boat is parking in Marina Hamata, in the village of Hamata which is located south of Marsa Alam Airport (190 Km, 2 1/2 hours half by car). Once you get on board, you will be given a short introduction while sipping on soft drinks in the salon. Choose your rooms and feel comfortable on board our boat. After a relaxing night journey we will arrive at our destination second day. A quick dive brief will prepare you with your first guide. You will have plenty of time to discover the reefs of the reefs from the surface and swim within the lagoon protected by the reefs from the currents. A guided snorkel follows during the afternoon. Satay is a place made of coral reefs, and it’s located somewhere in the beautiful Red Sea. Satay has a length of 5 kilometers and has different widths. However, the widest spot is about 2 kilometers. Satay is split into two halves, each half looks like a swimming pool, but they’re 100 percent natural, without any human interference. The first swimming pool has a depth starting from 1 meter, up till 12 meters. dolphins usually prefer this swimming pool when the water has a suitable temperature for them, and dolphins usually are there during most months of the year. In the second half, you may find dolphins only during Summer, since it’s way deeper than the first half. However, since this spot is in the Southern Egypt, the temperature is most likely to be high at most of the times, making the water temperature suitable for dolphins. Satay also is a special place for diving, since it has all the wonderful coral reefs and colorful fishes. You can also start snorkeling with the dolphins if you like to.
